DeSean Jackson, NFl Philadelphia Eagle, Wide Receiver, took to the airwaves today on Radio One Philly (Hot 107.9) to advocate for funding for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Silent Killer, that took the life of his father, Bill Jackson, suddenly in 2009. Jackson stressed the importance of early detection and offered his personal funds to hold healthcare fairs to educate, empower and encourage those who lack the knowledge and funds to have pre-screening for Pancreatic Cancer and other diseases that impact the lives of members of underserved communities.
