The All Star Clinic is a comprehensive football clinic in partnership with the Helping Youth Pursue Excellence organization (HYPE), Panther football and the Play4Life Foundation with the mission of offering a clinic for the scholar athlete and their families. Panther football is dedicated to the mental and physical development of the student athlete through sports and education, creating life long success. In addition to the Playbook, HYPE has adopted and embraced the philosophy of the Play4Life Foundation that emphasizes the implementation of the “five disciplines” in to every aspect of a student athlete’s life. These disciplines are Desire, Dream, Vision, Belief and Power. This clinic is the launch of the pilot program and the partnership and collaboration of HYPE and Play4Life.
The PLAYBOOK is an interactive, long-term, life and academics enrichment program designed to accompany the documentary “DeSean Jackson: The Making of a Father’s Dream”. The documentary was used as the springboard to an intervention curriculum for athletes and their coaches – and mainstream students and their teachers – which leads to a structured, individualized plan for those student athlete’s (or student’s) success both on the field or in the classroom.
